Purpose

Inspired by Big Sean

“I am purpose. When I compare my purpose to someone else’s, then it is no longer my purpose. Disconnect to reconnect.”

I never realized that I needed to disconnect from myself to then be at my lowest point to understand that all I was asking for was change. All I was asking of myself was to reconnect. But only I could see that. No one else, even if people encouraged me. Sometimes, you find yourself at your lowest point that you blame others for being at your lowest. But when you awaken the spiritual shit within you, you start holding yourself accountable for trying to be better and forgive the past versions of yourself.

You acknowledge the harm you may have caused, but you also forgive yourself and pray for those you’ve hurt in the past. People walk this earth without knowing themselves because pride/ego gets in the way. Never be one of those people because your life will be full of regrets. Regrets exist because you haven’t learned your lessons and you’re scared of facing your own truth. Face your truth, forgive yourself, learn your lesson(s), and then watch the universe be at your favor. Life is amazing from my point of you. Enter your own truth, and watch how fearless you’ll be.

And since we’re talking about purpose: my purpose is to inspire my Latino community so that they can be whoever they want to be. Move mountains so that those after can see how far they can go. So here’s to you my Latino community — I’ll make y’all proud.
