“I can only give to you

what I already given myself

I can only understand the world

as much as I understand myself” - Yung Pubelo

(Thanks Demi for sharing your favorite writer! Love Yung’s content!)

Self - Love is to look within and understand yourself. Only then can you give the best of yourself to this world

Why is self love so important? Only then can you give the best of yourself to this world.

When you self-love - you don’t seek validation elsewhere except your own.

When you self love - you wake up and look in the mirror and say “wow you’re looking fine today.”

When you self love - you recognize your emotions and let it sit so you can grow into a more beautiful person.

When you self love - you bring the joy not only to yourself but to those around you.

When you self love - you bring only abundance of love into your life.

When you self love - you will always choose yourself even in the dark times. Because only you know how to carry yourself in life.

LISTEN LINDA -

At the end of the day, you literally live with yourself every day. You either choose to seek validation from somewhere else or give the validation yourself. Giving it to yourself is the most powerful move you can make and live a happier life. And this is called self-worth.

Habits: What have I done for self-love?

  1. Serenade myself as I look in the mirror. It’s actually quite fun! The other day, I sang “Adore You” by Harry Styles.

  2. Wake Up. Set the intention: What can I do today to smile more? Ask yourself positive questions so that your mind subconsciously is thinking about it throughout the day.

  3. Make time for personal development- paint, cook, read a book — anything that will expand your mind.

  4. “Today is a new day to CREATE the BEST version of yourself” written on my white board.

  5. Spinning and Yoga. Spinning has mentally and physically challenged my body. When your body feels like it cannot handle anymore but mentally you’re telling yourself “only 10 more seconds. You got this.” That’s how you mentally train your mind and learn to navigate situations. Yoga has helped me connect with my body and soul. Taking deep breathes and feeling it release. The expansion of your rib cages as you inhale and the exhale that you feel when you let anything you had go. (I strongly encourage everyone to do yoga. If it’s hard, that’s good because it’ll push you. Nothing in this world is meant to be easy).

  6. Always look inside yourself for the answers.

One last note - anyone can say “I love myself.” The key difference between those that say it and practice it are through their actions.
