I Am Here For You. We Are Here For You.
“It’s not so much what we have in this life that matters. It’s what we do with what we have.” - Mister Rogers
It’s during these uncertain times that we question ourselves and our future. I am here to tell you to take a breather because we will all get through this together. This isn’t just your battle, it’s our battle. It’s this world’s battle. And when we get through this pandemic and its effects, we will all rise above. I can promise you that.
There are many emotions that are happening inside of us — anxiety, determination, stress, hope, fear, awkwardness, a plethora of other things, especially those that have COVID-19. But three things are for sure: this pandemic spread, how our bodies react to COVID-19, and how U.S. government responds to this pandemic are just out of our control.
And so I dare to say that all of this is just a temporary setback. Do Not Give Up. Do not give up on yourself. Do not give up on what you have yet to accomplish. Do not give up on your friends and family. Do not give up your circumstances. We will see the light at the end of the tunnel because we are all here for one another.
I am no one to tell you how to handle your unique circumstances in all of this. Instead I am here to remind you that I am here for you. You have people around you that are there for you. We need to get into a positive state of mind for our well-being, so that we become strong for those that are weak and need our help.
We must practice gratitude, even though it may be hard. Write a list down of things you still have yet to do. Connect/Re-Connect with family and friends. Ask your loved ones how they’re doing. We need to be able to talk through our emotions instead of bottling them in.
But whatever you do, do not stress. Do not create scenarios that have not happened because you’re creating scenarios that do not exist, and they may never exist. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take any actions. It’s always good to be prepared. You must believe that you can navigate these circumstances for yourself.
Trust in Mother Nature. Trust in the Universe. Trust in the Lord. Trust in your faith. Trust in yourself. Trust in your ability to navigate this.
